ADAM NASH, one of the most prolific potters in the Southampton area plays for Terry Azor's team in both the Snooker and Billiards league. This year, Adam entered the Poole open competition and here is Tim's report.... "CITY Transport star
Adam Nash motored to victory in the Cuestars Open at Poole’s Ambassador Club. Trailing
1-0 to Swindon’s Steve Dunn in the final, Nash won the next three to pocket £110. The
28-year-old, who owns a building firm and an estate agency in Southampton, beat
Reading’s Phillip Wildman in the semis despite having only one shot in the
first frame. Nash
explained: “He broke off, I missed a long red, and he knocked in 103 and lost
the next three frames.” In December Adam hit an enviable purple patch slotting home a 93 in the Premier and knocking in three centuries in practice, all on the same night. In the Billiards section, he has scored 3, 80+ breaks, following his fine 116 break in the previous season.
