John Mullane is pleased with his latest win in the Southampton & District Billiards League Individual Handicap Knockout, the Ken Sydenham Trophy. Playing at Sarisbury Social John conceded points all round, clawed back a huge deficit with the help of two 54 breaks in the semi-final against Drew Farminer (Woolston Cons) to win 200 - 194. And in the Final he slotted home a very timely 106 break to take the lead against his team captain Terry Azor. Terry was not to be completely outdone and replied with a break of 77. John was again stirred into action and emerged victorious with a score of 200 - 158.
